Obituary: Ralph K. Hines

Ralph K. Hines, 81, died Oct. 30, 2010, in Carson City. He was born in Oakland, Calif., on Oct. 23, 1929, to Albert and Bessie Hines. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, grandson Marc Dortch, and great-grandson Rocky Hines. Among his survivors are his sons Michael Hines and wife Christi, and David Hines; daughters Laurie Dortch and husband Rick, and Katie Hines-Winkler and husband Mark; sister Evelyn Zichosh; 10 grandchildren and seven-great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 3 at the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City. Capitol City Cremation & Burial is in charge of arrangements.
