Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.
The closure of westbound Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to Roop Street is in effect through Aug. 31. Alternate routes of travel are Colorado Street to the south, and Little Lane to the north.
Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.
The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 6:02 a.m. all roads open with no controls.
Today's weather will be sunny with areas of smoke and haze with highs 84-94 with west winds around 10 mph.
Tonight, clear with areas of smoke and haze with lows 55-65 and west winds 10-15 mph.
Wednesday, sunny with highs 87-97 with light winds becoming west around 10 mph in the afternoon.
