Glen "Michael" Peoples peacefully entered into rest on June 30, 2008 after a yearlong battle with cancer.

He was born May 4, 1967 in Tulare, Calif. and was a resident of Carson City for the past 30 years.

He graduated with a degree in Journalism from The University of Nevada, Reno and successfully managed the family business with his father at 7-Eleven, 3701 North Carson Street.

His parents Glen and Ann Peoples and sister Laura Peoples survive him. Michael's outlook on life was to live honestly, with kindness and to spend as much time out on the golf course as possible! We will celebrate his loving memory with a gathering at the Peoples' favorite Mexican Restaurant, Tito's 2 p.m., Saturday, July 26.

The Peoples' family would also like to graciously thank Debbie Chase, R.N. for her personal help in Michael's care and in lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Hospice Program at Saint Mary's.

Arrangements are in the trusted care of Autumn Funerals and Cremations.
