Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 53-year-old carnival worker from Las Vegas was arrested at 5:34 p.m. on Friday in the 1100 block of E. William Street for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $1,964 cash.
• A 40-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested in the 2000 block of Empire Ranch Road at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.
• Timothy Allen Scott Newman, 20, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested in the 3300 block of Biltmore at 2 a.m. Saturday for suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, and three misdemeanor warrants out of Carson City Justice Court for misdemeanor obtaining money by fraudulent means and two counts of misdemeanor petit larceny.
• A 37-year-old Carson City man, was arrested at 5:29 a.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Harrison Lane for suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.
• A 33-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 11:08 p.m. Saturday at 8th and Carson streets for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI-first. Bail was set at 1,132.
• A 24-year-old Henderson man was arrested at 12:18 a.m. on Sunday for suspicion of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $632.
• A 50-year-old Reno woman was arrested at 5:57 p.m. Saturday on Arrowhead Drive for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI-alcohol and drugs, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. She was also cited for not wearing a seat belt. Bail was set at $2,663.
• A 41-year-old Carson City department manager for Wal-Mart was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, second offense. Bail was set at $5,000.
• A 41-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road, for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI-first and misdemeanor obstruction of a police officer. Bail was set at $1,536.
• An 18-year-old cashier from Carson City was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Saturday at Mills Park for suspicion of misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $1369.
