Howard Francis Schnoebelen

Howard Francis Schnoebelen was born to Elizabeth (Droll) and Victor A. Schnoebelen August 16, 1917 in Riverside, Iowa and died June 30, 2008 in Watsonville, Calif. He was the youngest of five children and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Riverside.

Howard married the love of his life; Eunice Ludtke, in 1939 and they had 63 years together until she passed away in 2001. They moved to California and worked in the shipyards during World War II and resided for a number of years in Montana and Idaho. They moved to the Lake Tahoe area in 1957 and then Carson City, while he worked as a bartender and bar schoolteacher at Harrah's, Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Howard is survived by four goddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be buried at St. Vincent's Cemetery in Riverside, Iowa.
