Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Scottie Vannort, 39, a transient, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony failure to register as a felon. Bail was set at $1,132.

• Tarron Evans, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 4500 block of Mustang Drive on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• Gary Leroy Waugaman, 45, a plumber from Carson City, was arrested at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Roop Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear out of Washoe County, and misdemeanor contempt of court out of Carson City. No bail was set.

• A 57-year-old security worker from Carson City was arrested at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Fifth Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and speeding. Her bail was set at $1,214.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A report of two juveniles going from car to car and looking into them at 2 a.m. on Bobarly Court.

• A window was broken on a vehicle in the 4200 block of Louise Drive sometime before 7:53 a.m.

• A window on a business on Technology Way was broken sometime before 8:08 a.m.

• A man turned in a cell phone he found at Sonoma Park at 11:04 a.m.

• Report of children left in a vehicle outside Sierra Family Health at 11:09 a.m.

• A man reported his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend called and threatened him at 1:46 p.m.

• Report of a hospice patient in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at 3:47 p.m.

• Report of a man and woman punching each other in the 1000 block of North Carson Street at 5:32 p.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 9:56 p.m.

• A woman reported her husband was followed home and battered by unknown subjects at 11:06 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Report of a possibly intoxicated man with a broken collar bone at 6:56 a.m. on Willie Way.

• Accident on State Route 342 at 11:32 a.m.

• A woman on Pinenut Road reported at 7:06 p.m. that she came home and found a bat in her house. She asked that a deputy come and help her get it out.

• A woman reported at 7:38 p.m. that she was walking her dog on Agate Road and was attacked by two loose dogs.
