Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Casey Peterson, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:40 a.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony probation violation, providing false identification to avoid prosecution and misdemeanor threats to police. Peterson allegedly got angry about a deputy parked outside Katie's Bar. When the officer asked him his name, according to the report, Peter gave him a false name. After ascertaining his true name and finding him in violation of his probation, the officer alleged that Peterson threatened him after he was uncuffed. Bail was set at $3,132.

- A 20-year-old assistant manager from Carson City was arrested at 10:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of Airport Road on four traffic warrants. Bail was set at $5,192.

- A 24-year-old porter from Carson City was arrested at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday at Siskiyou and Woodside drives on suspicion of misdemeanor failing to use tail lamps and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $254.

- A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

- Report of shoplifting caught on video in the 4300 block of South Carson Street at 1:08 p.m.

- A report of a "very intoxicated" man sleeping on the lawn at the Evergreen Center in the 1800 block of North Carson Street at 4:06 p.m. An arrest was made.

- Report of an Aquatic Center employee threatened by two men at 4:30 p.m.

- Report of a residential burglary in the 1500 block of Moody Street. Someone climbed through a window using a chair.

- A caller reported his roommate "ate a full box of D-Con," rodent poison, and kicked him out of the house. When the caller left, the roommate had another full box of D-Con and was threatening to down that as well. Police arrived and used pepper spray to control the man, then transported him to the hospital. There, the man said he'd washed the poison down with alcohol.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

- Report at 1:34 p.m. of a juvenile recklessly driving a ATV near the skate park.

- Report of a traumatic injury involving broken ribs on Interstate 80 at 1:46 p.m.

- Report of a dog locked in a vehicle on C Street for 25 minutes. When the owners were offered a leash to tie the dog up outside, they declined stating they feared their dog would be stolen.
