Bernice passed away quietly at her home in Carson City where she had lived since 1970.
Bernice and her late husband Lisle opened the Picnic House on Fifth Street in Carson City, Jan. 1, 1971 and ran that business until 1982 when she retired. They also owned and operated the Cave Rock Market at Lake Tahoe from 1963 until 1969 before they moved to Carson City.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Lisle in 1976 and her son Clifford "Skip" in 1993.
Bernice is survived by daughters Joan Beattie, Vicki Ellis and son Rick. She was grandmother to 16, great grandmother to 14 and great -great grandmother to four.
There will be no services. All she would ask is that we treat each other well
