Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• James Montell Dean, 22, unemployed of Dayton, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. Sunday at Division and John streets on suspicion of gross misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor driving on a license revoked for DUI and failure to maintain a lane. Bail was set at $3,239.
• A 25-year-old salesman from Carson City was arrested at 3:04 a.m. Sunday at Saliman Road and Robinson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, drunken driving and driving on a license revoked for DUI. Bail was set at $4,264.
• Joel David Germain, 39, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 7:06 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of felony parole violation out of California and misdemeanor petty larceny. No bail was set.
• Whitney Richmond, 20, a retail worker from Carson City, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription, misdemeanor drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Richmond allegedly hit her mother in the head with a bat, then drove away, striking a parked vehicle. Bail was set at $16,764.
