High Sierra Swing Dance slated

The High Sierra Swing Dance Club will rock around the clock, Saturday, at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St. Dance instructor Suzette Feilen teaches the East Coast Swing at 7 p.m. Social dance begins at 8 p.m. Dance instruction is $7. BACto present 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare'

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) will be presented at the Brewery Arts Center Outdoor Stage, 7:30 p.m., Sunday, July 27, Aug. 3 and 10.

Three actors perform all 37 of Shakespeare's plays in a madcap style worthy of Groucho Marx. Tickets are $12 general seating; $2 off for BAC members, seniors, and students. The Brewery Arts Center is located at 511 W. King St. For tickets and information, call 883-1976.

Cancer fundraiser at Dayton Valley

Dayton Valley Golf and Country Club will host a fundraiser Thursday, Aug. 28-Sunday, Aug. 31 for the Carson Advocates for Cancer Care. David John and the Comstock Cowboys will perform 5-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30 at the driving range. Cost is $45 per person, $80 for two tickets, $5 for children.
