Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


- Armando Reyes, 19, unemployed from Reno, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. Monday at Hillview and Silver Sage drives on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.


- Kenneth Lee Burden, 18, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:23 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of South Saliman Road on suspicion of felony desertion from the U.S. Army. Burden was last seen at his duty station in Fort Benning, Ga., on May 11. No bail was set.


- John Howell, 55, a manager from Carson City, was arrested at 11:07 a.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.


- Rebecca Peltier, 25, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:51 a.m. Monday at Proctor and Roop streets on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $25,000.


- Bruce Alan Thompson, 44, of Dayton, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. Sunday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor drunken driving and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Bail was set at $4,951.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


- Accident at North Roop Street and Northridge Drive at 7:59 a.m.


- Report of a lock cut on a storage unit in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East.


- A mobile home was burglarized in the 1800 block of Lompa Lane sometime before 9:45 a.m.


- A dual-axle trailer with a red Bobcat was stolen from Saliman Road and Fairview Drive sometime over the weekend.


- Juveniles reportedly shot a pellet gun at a mail truck, containing a mailman, at 12:05 p.m. in the 1900 block of Radcliff Drive. An arrest was made.


- Report of an unattended bag behind a vehicle in the 2500 block of North Carson Street.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


- Report of the concession stand burglarized and hit with graffiti at Fernley High School.


- Coroner call on Parkland Way in Fernley at 11:19 a.m.


- A report of a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old left unattended on Farm District Road in Fernley at 1:30 p.m.


- A woman in Dayton reported her ex-husband tried to rip her cable box out of the wall at 5:23 p.m.


- A woman in Fernley reported she paid someone to build her a garage, the person cashed the check, but hadn't done the work.


Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


- Report of a man being knocked unconscious at 9:37 a.m. on North C Street.


- Report of a small, orange, Chihuahua-mix dog missing from South D Street at 6:27 p.m.
