Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:


• A 39-year-old property manager from Minden was arrested Thursday at 2:10 p.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving. He was on probation and allegedly showed up intoxicated for an appointment with an Alternative Sentencing officer at the courthouse. When questioned by a deputy, the man denied admitting to the Alternative Sentencing officer that he drove to the courthouse. "I told the officer I hypothetically drove here," the officer quoted the man as saying. Bail was set at $2,500.


• Rudy Martinez, 34, of San Bernardino, Calif., was arrested at 11:44 p.m. in the 1700 block of Brown Street on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, a Sacramento warrant for parole violation and misdemeanor threats. No bail was set.

• Accident in the 1500 block of Firebox Road at 8:07 a.m.


• Accident at North Roop Street and College Parkway at 4:08 p.m.


• Report of a rear window broken on a vehicle at the Park and Ride on Highway 50 West near the Spooner Summit junction from Highway 395.


• Fight report on Brown Street at 11:26 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Arrest on West Cedar Street in Silver Springs at 12:34 a.m.


• Report of a student found to be in possession of a knife at Fernley Intermediate School at 9:30 a.m.


• Felony arrest on Cypress Street in Silver Springs at 10:11 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Haywood Court in Dayton at 4:57 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Winnemucca Street in Silver Springs at 10:43 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Report of a small English bulldog, white with brown spots, lost on Enterprise Road at 11:30 a.m.
