Rebecca Ann Bixby, 82, passed away on June 1, 2008 in Carson City. Becky was born August 7, 1925 in Hinsdale, Ill. to William F and Hazel E. Evans Bixby.
She graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1943, went to work for TWA and became a student pilot. She enjoyed fishing in the High Sierras and moved to the Owens Valley, Calif. in 1959. She was active in the American Legion in Big Pine, Calif. and relocated to Carson City in 1980.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Bert E. Bixby.
She is survived by daughter Janet Bixby of Carson City; grandchildren Todd Patterson,
Tracey Christensen, Trudy Preston, Tiffany Lambert, Ronald Patterson, Teral Kelly
and Teresa Patterson; great-grandchildren Travis Davis, Trevor and Taylor Lambert,
Torrie and Tierra Henry, Conor and Shelby Preston, Joshua and Michael Christensen,
Jason, Joanna and Joshua Kelly, and nephew Clark F. Bixby.
