CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Polish sausage on a bun, seasoned potato wedges with peppers and onions, raisin-carrot salad, grape juice.

Tuesday: Roast beef sandwich with sour cream, horseradish sauce, cheese, macaroni salad, pickled beets, apple, ice cream.

Wednesday: Beef taco salad with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, Mexicorn, lite sour cream, salsa, whole wheat bread with margarine, peach cobbler.

Thursday: Sweet and sour chicken, rice, stir fry vegetables, lime Jell-O with pineapple, whole wheat bread with apple butter.

Friday: Ham and broccoli bake, scalloped potatoes, strawberries, garden salad with fat-free dressing, cornbread with honey butter.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Oven fried chicken, cauliflower with cheese sauce, biscuit with honey, apple juice, peach cake.

Tuesday: Tomato soup, black bean salad, crackers, orange-banana juice, bread pudding.

Wednesday: Breaded fish, rice pilaf, tarter sauce, coleslaw, whole wheat bread, pears, cookie.

Thursday: Polish sausage, hoagie roll, potato wedges, green salad, applesauce.

Friday: Roast beef with gravy, herbed red potatoes, Brussels sprouts, whole wheat roll, strawberry cream cake and ice cream.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The luncheon menu for the Douglas Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane.

Monday: Sloppy Joe, peas and carrots, celery sticks, apple crisp.

Tuesday: Fish, pineapple and cabbage salad, roasted potatoes, seasoned green beans, tarter sauce, island paradise cake.

Wednesday: Beef fajitas, shredded lettuce and tomato, salsa and sour cream, Mexican rice, refried beans, vanilla bean ice cream.

Thursday: Barbecue at Lampe Park. Kielbasa on French roll, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, cupcake.

Friday: Minestrone soup, chicken tenders, cottage cheese and fruit plate, whole wheat crackers.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.

Monday: Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad, Ambrosia.

Tuesday: Ginger peach glazed pork roast, rolls, basil garlic, veggie pasta, Mandarin oranges.

Wednesday: Chili relleno casserole, broccoli and cauliflower, Spanish rice, flour tortilla, spicy pears.

Thursday: Pot roast, carrot, celery, onions, mixed veggies, oven roasted potatoes, apples.

Friday: Salmon patty, creamed peas and potatoes, plums, carrot-raisin salad, sherbet.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Baked ham, raisin sauce, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, berry muffins.

Tuesday: Lasagna, chopped spinach, garlic bread, orange.

Wednesday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, cookies.

Thursday: Grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, fruit salad.

Friday: Tuna sandwich, Tater Tots, 3-bean salad, fruit, ice cream, pudding.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Pork riblets, scalloped potatoes, vegetables, carrot-raisin salad, brownie sundae.

Tuesday: Chicken enchilada, refried beans, Jell-O salad, peach cobbler.

Wednesday: Beef stir fry, white rice, egg roll, coleslaw, lemon bisque.

Thursday: Cobb salad, chicken breast, blue cheese, tomato, onion, cucumbers, egg, bacon, bread, rocky road pie.

Friday: Pot roast with roasted potatoes, carrots and onions in gravy, broccoli salad, Jell-O cake.

FERNLEY

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Drive:

Monday: Meatball sandwich, split pea soup, cucumbers in sour cream, orange halves.

Tuesday: Herb-garlic chicken, squash, baked potato with margarine, green salad with dressing, strawberry shortcake.

Wednesday: Beef stroganoff with noodles, broccoli, pears, spinach salad, cookie.

Thursday: Baked fish, coleslaw, stewed tomatoes, whole wheat bread with margarine, banana, fruit crisp.

Friday: Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, V8 and orange juice.
