The Carson City Sheriff's Department and Search and Rescue crews are scouring the hills in southwest Carson City in search of a missing or endangered 20-year-old Carson City man.

Sheriff's Chief Deputy Steve Schuette said officers are looking specifically for a white, 2005 Hyundai Accent 2-door sedan with the word "SPY" on the bumper and Nevada plates 429SYX.

Schuette said the man left a note that caused family and law enforcement to become concerned that he may harm himself. Schuette declined to go into further details and did not release the man's name.

Anyone with information, or who may have seen this vehicle since 10 a.m. this morning, is asked to call 911.
