Elvin W. Blankenship, 81, died June 4, 2008. He was born Sept. 3, 1926 in Washington. Among his survivors are daughters Lynda Garcia and Donna Herrod and sons Ed Blankenship and Wyle Blankenship. He donated his body to University of Nevada School of Medicine. Walton's Chapel of the Valley was in charge of arrangements.
