The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:06 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

The closure of westbound Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to Roop Street is in effect through Aug. 31. Alternate routes of travel are Colorado Street to the south, and Little Lane to the north.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.

Today's weather will be sunny with highs 81-91 with light winds becoming west 10-15 mph late in the afternoon.

Tonight, clear with lows 47-57 with west winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the evening decreasing to up to 10 mph.

Thursday, sunny with breezy with highs 83-93 with light winds becoming west 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon.
