Jackie Forbes and Robert "Butch" Forbes, Carson City residents for the past 36 years, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Jackie and Butch were married June 15, 1958 in Santa Clara, Calif. They have three children: Keith (Linda) of Carson City, Kristy (Pete) of Reno, and Shari (Ferd) of Carson City, and four grandchildren.
Butch is a retired supervisor for Wonder/Hostess Bakery. Jackie is a retired administrative secretary for the Carson City School District.
The couple celebrated with their family at the Lone Eagle Grille in Incline Village.
