Robert "Bob" Gillie, 79, a longtime resident of Carson City, passed away June 17, 2008, in Carson City. He was born March 25, 1929, in Sparks.
Bob was preceded in death by his nephew, John Lee Gillie and by brother, Arnold Joseph Gillie.
He is survived by his brother, Herb Gillie of Carson City; nieces, Susie Langford and Ann Crockett both of Carson City, Kaeleen Bortz of Idaho, and Theresa Velasquez of California; five grandnieces and three grandnephews.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Kids and Horses Therapeutic Riding Center, Minden.
Arrangements are in the care of Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society.
