Sheriff's Log

The following people were arrested Saturday night and Sunday morning by Carson City sheriff's deputies. Those arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in court.

• A Carson City 30-year-old man was taken into custody at 5:37 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Imperial Way. He faces two counts of battery against the woman he was with and the man who tried to stop him from beating her. Bail was set at a total of $2,264.

• A 45-year-old Carson City man was jailed at 6:23 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop for failure to yield the right of way revealed he was driving on a revoked driver's license. The arrest occurred in the 3300 block of Woodside Drive.

• A Carson City 37-year-old was taken into custody at 10:37 p.m. Saturday at Saliman Road and Highway 50 East for driving on a suspended license and failure to appear on a traffic citation.

• A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on indecent conduct charges at 1:23 a.m. Sunday after a deputy observed him urinating on a tree in a parking lot along Highway 50 East. He also faces charges he violated terms of a suspended sentence on another charge.

• A 22 year old Dayton man was arrested at 4:09 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Highway 50 East. He faces a charge of driving under the influence.

• A 24 year old Reno woman was arrested at South Carson St. and Fairview at 4:18 a.m. Sunday. She is charged with driving under the influence.
