Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Kevin Lee Hollaway, 18, a carpet cleaner from Carson City, was arrested at 3:43 a.m. on suspicion of two counts of felony attempted auto burglary and two counts of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $16,264. Two juveniles were also arrested.


• A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:49 p.m. Monday at Lompa Lane and Menlo Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and speeding. Bail was set at $2,714.


• A 54-year-old transient equipment operator was arrested at 3:44 p.m. in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. The man allegedly snatched the tip jar from the drive-thru window at Starbucks on Highway 50 East. Bail was set at $347.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A man reported at 1:14 a.m. that his neighbor on Sherman Lane punched him in the head.


• Coroner call in the 2500 block of Brentwood Drive at 3:52 a.m.


• A Saturn sedan reported stolen at 5:55 a.m. from the 700 block of Rolando Way was recovered at 9:14 a.m. in the 1100 block of Schell Avenue.


• Coroner call at 8:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of Marie Drive.


• Coroner call at 10:52 a.m. at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.


• A saw was reported stolen at 10:54 a.m. from Meeks Lumber.


• Report of a male voice "screaming" at a young child at 11:27 a.m. in the 1400 block of Long Street.


• Jewelry was reported stolen at 2:18 p.m. from the 4000 block of Lepire Drive.


• A woman reported at 2:46 p.m. that she'd last seen her 48-year-old roommate on Friday morning.


• Residential burglary report at 4:23 p.m. in the 100 block of Koontz Lane.


• A woman reported at 5:14 p.m. that she arrived home in the 100 block of Koontz Lane and found her home burglarized and her computer missing.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A caller reported seeing a wolf on Fort Churchill Road in Silver Springs at 2:05 a.m.


• Report of gasoline stolen from school buses in the Fernley bus yard at 6:43 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 11:08 a.m.


• Report of a purse stolen from a home on Truckee Street in Silver Springs at 1:04 p.m.


• Report of three cows in the road on Miller Lane in Fernley at 1:42 p.m.
