Jack Graham Bird, 94, a resident of Carson City for 85 years, died March 29, 2008. Born in Sacramento on September 2, 1913, Jack worked as a buckaroo, rancher, and builder in western Nevada.
Jack is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn; sons James Bird and Russell Bird of Carson City, Jack Bird Jr., of Elko; daughters Joan Miles and Laurie Livermore of Carson City, and Mary Jensen of Camas, Wash..; thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church building fund in Carson City.
