Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Edwin Palabrica Fernando, a golf course employee from Reno and Hollie N. Peterson, 21, an assembly worker from Carson City, were arrested at 1:40 p.m. at the Silver Queen Motel on suspicion of felony possession of drugs for sale, possession of drugs, trafficking and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Each is being held on $41,132 bail.


• Richard McKinley Brumette, 41, a transient, was arrested at 4:13 p.m. in the 100 block of Winnie Lane on suspicion of felony open and gross lewdness, indecent exposure, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and being a drunken pedestrian. According to the arrest report, Brumette was yelling profanity at vehicles on Winnie Lane and "dancing around with his pants down." His bail was set at $7,814.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Coroner call in the 3400 block of Woodside Drive at 8:30 a.m.


• Report of a social security card and a green card stolen from the 100 block of Koontz Lane at 8:49 a.m.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 9:10 a.m.


• Coroner call in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East at 1:04 p.m.


• Traffic accident at North Curry and William streets at 4:10 p.m.


Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 5:39 p.m.


• Traffic accident in the 2800 block of North Carson Street at 5:46 p.m.


• A man reported a woman stole his wallet at 8:15 p.m. from the front seat of his vehicle parked at the 7 Eleven at College Parkway and Highway 50 East.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Report of a window broken on a county vehicle in Dayton Valley Road at 6:35 a.m.


• A caller reported a tenant moved out Friday from Center Street in Fernley and stole the caller's toaster and television.


• Report of eight people fighting in a Dayton casino at 6:59 p.m. A misdemeanor arrest was made.
