Due to flooding caused by a broken water heater, Douglas High School authorities have canceled today's classes at the Carson Valley school.

The main office, counseling office and much of one hall were flooded when the water heater, located above the bathrooms in the commons area, broke Sunday night.

Classes are expected to resume Tuesday on a "B-day" schedule.
