Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Robert Hogan, 26, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 3 a.m. at Otha Street and Nye Lane on suspicion of felony robbery and destruction of property. He allegedly "jumped" a man and stole the victim's cell phone. Police found the phone after they called the victim's number and it rang in Hogan's pants, according to the arrest report.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• Accident at Garnet Way and Arrowhead Drive at 7:47 a.m.
• A woman reported at 10 a.m. Sunday that she was battered by two women Friday night at a bar on East William Street.
• Report of three individuals behind Computer Corps on Highway 50 East at 2:30 p.m. "trying to steal items." A felony arrest was made.
• Report of a vehicle hitting street signs at East Fifth Street and Fairview Drive at 5:14 p.m.
• A man reported Sunday at 5:24 p.m. that he was the victim of a robbery on Thursday night by a man with a gun. The victim stated he was unable to remember any further details.
• A maid at a South Carson Street motel found a purse "full of drugs," at 6:38 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• Two newspaper racks were reported stolen from Occidental Drive at 8:28 a.m.
• A residential burglary report at 11 a.m. on Red Jacket Drive in Dayton.
• Report of a gun stolen from a home on Nightingale Drive in Dayton at 1:48 p.m.
