Florence peacefully passed away at home with her husband Kenneth and daughter Charlotte (Kimball) at her side. She was happy to have the company of her four cats, friends and family with her.

Born in Elkon, Maryland, she was raised in Santa Cruz, Calif. by her mother, Margaret Stark, and stepfather, "Daddy Richter". She loved raising collies, living in the country and was active in drama her junior and senior years. She graduated 1948.

Flo moved to Sacramento to the Parkside boarding house and married Kenneth Kimball, in 1950. In 1956 they moved to Placerville Calif. where Flo was a mother, homemaker, seamstress before beginning work at the Hangtown Pharmacy cafe, the Fruit Shed, the Mt. Democrat, and was the bookkeeper for Dr. Bliss and Dr. Elliott through 1973.

Flo loved fishing, hiking, sewing, reading, crafts and her pets. She was great people person. Generous and sympathetic to those she knew.

Flo and Ken move to Carson City in 1985. Flo was a co-owner and manager for Desert Storage in Carson City for 10 years before retiring in 1995. She was a regular at Grandma Hattie's and Caravan Cafe; those friendships brought her much joy and comfort.

She survived by husband Kenneth and daughter Charlotte, four grandchildren, Margaret, Leif, Jason and Gabriel Crider of Placerville. She is preceded by her daughter Saundra Canuelle and mother Margaret Stark.

At her request, no services will be held. Her family sincerely thanks everyone who made her life special and happy. Remembrances may be made to any cat rescue, the Defenders of Wildlife, wolf division, and St, Mary's Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Autumn Funerals and Cremations.
