Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 27-year-old catering employee was arrested at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday at Carson and Robinson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, a tail light violation and a seat belt violation. Bail was set at $1,453.


• A 25-year-old retail worker from Carson City was arrested at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of making an unlawful U-turn, drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Bail was set at $1,401.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Commercial burglary report on East Nye Lane at 7:43 a.m.


• Threat report on Park Street at 8:24 a.m.


• Carson drug dog Teddy found marijuana and paraphernalia in a vehicle parked at Carson High School at 10:47 a.m. An arrest was made.


• Vehicle injury report on Bunch Way at 1:17 p.m.


• Report of a person walking out of Safeway without paying for a basket of groceries at 4:20 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest on Bridge Street at 2:29 a.m. in Mason Valley.


• Report of a man yelling and screaming at children and urinating at In Town Park in Fernley at 3:50 p.m. The man was taken into civil protective custody by police.


• Residential burglary report on Stillwater Drive at 6:23 p.m.


• Coroner call on Browne Lane in Fernley at 9:46 p.m.


• Felony arrest on Lake Street in Silver Springs at 10:23 p.m.
