About Nevada: The Pack comes off a four-game sweep of Western Athletic Conference foe Louisiana Tech, which included come-from-behind wins in both games of Saturday's doubleheader ... Catcher Tyson Jaquez has hit in 10 straight games ... No doubt today's game will see coach Gary Powers use most of his pitching staff, though its doubtful anybody will go more than two innings ... Rodland had a great series, hitting his first homer of the season and driving in five runs on Friday night ... David Ciarlo, who threw up during Thursday's game, played late in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader. His status is day-to-day, though his replacement Nick Leid filled in nicely.
