Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 22-year-old electrician from Carson City was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $2,661.


• A 37-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 8:13 p.m. Tuesday at Nye Lane and College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor driving without a license, no stop lamps and contempt of court. Bail was set at $654.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Report of a person with a weapon in the 3400 block of Imperial Way at 4:44 a.m.


• Felony arrest at Washoe and Curry streets at 9:17 a.m.


• Coroner call in the 1800 block of Lompa Lane at 11 a.m.


• Fraud report on Pinebrook Drive at 11:55 a.m.


• Fraud report on East Second Street at 12:11 p.m.


• Report of an employee attempting to steal narcotics on Highway 50 East at 1:25 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report on Adam Street at 7:04 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Report of a broken windshield on Silver Lace Boulevard in Fernley at 7:39 a.m.


• Hit-and-run report on C Street in Fernley at 7:50 a.m.


• Report of a vehicle striking a building on Hardie Lane in Smith Valley at 9:52 a.m.


• Report of a window broken on a home on Spear Court in Fernley at 8:02 p.m.
