High profile vehicles, to include commercial motor vehicles, trailers and recreational vehicles, must use an alternate route through Washoe Valley due to high winds, according to NHP spokesman Trooper Chuck Allen.
The National Weather Service in Reno estimated winds speeds through the valley at 60 mph about 1 p.m.
