A man who touched so many lives. A helper to all who knew him.
Wes was an inspiration to many people and skydivers. Being one of the top in the world of skydiving, Wes held many pro ratings and licenses. Some of his accomplishments include: videographer for national skydiving teams, tandem master; AFF instructor; professional canopy pilot and Red Bull team member.
He was also co-owner along with Aja Niemann of Skydive Tahoe, a project that took close to four years to complete.
Aside from skydiving, Wes was an avid outdoorsman; he thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, snowboarding amongst many activities. Wes lived THE LIFE many of us just dream, doing what he loved.
Many family and friends including his father, Steve Harberts; his mother Pat; sister, niece; and his partner Aja Niemann survive Wes.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held noon, Saturday, March 29, Skydive Tahoe Hangar located at the Tahoe Minden Airport, 102 Wass Rd., Minden. Follow the balloons off Airport Road.
