It is a privilege and an honor to represent Nevada's Second Congressional District. Every day I fight for the values we cherish in Nevada such as strong families, a strong economy, and a strong national defense. However, beyond representing you in Congress, my office provides many other services such as tours of D.C. attractions, White House greetings, internships and flags flown over the U.S. Capitol.

Our nation's capital is a wonderful place to visit, filled with exciting history of the United States. As spring approaches, many Nevadans will be visiting Washington, D.C. Before you leave Nevada, I would like to inform you of the tourism services I can offer to make your stay a memorable one. My staff is able to arrange a number of different tours for your enjoyment while you are in the Washington, D.C., area. We can take you on a personalized tour of the Capitol Building, including the halls of Congress and the House Chamber, where federal laws are passed. This tour is a wonderful opportunity for your family to get an up-close and personal look at the Capitol building - its artwork, historic rooms, and the legislative process. We also can arrange tours of the White House, Library of Congress, Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the Supreme Court. Because of the large volume of visitors coming to Washington year-round, we ask that you make your request at least six weeks in advance.

I also submit requests for Presidential greeting cards from the White House. Presidential greeting cards acknowledge a variety of important occasions and accomplishments. Presidential greetings honor everything from new births, weddings and anniversaries (50 or more years) to birthdays (80 or older). Eagle Scout and Gold Star recognition letters also are available.

Additionally, I have Congressional internships available to Nevadans. These internships are available for college students in my district offices as well as my Washington, D.C., office. Internships provide excellent opportunities for students to experience and observe the legislative process and policymaking at the federal level. Internships include a wide range of duties including legislative research, attending legislative briefings and hearings, and providing general staff support. Anyone interested in an internship should contact my Washington, D.C., office for more information.

Finally, if you are interested in receiving an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, I am happy to help you purchase a flag to commemorate any special occasion, event or holiday. Along with the flag, you will receive a certificate stating the flag's authenticity. I receive numerous flag requests honoring veterans, retirements, and birthdays to name a few. To take advantage of this service, please contact my Washington, D.C., office.

I hope you take advantage of the many services my office can offer you and your family. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any of my offices or by going to my Web site at www.heller.house.gov if I can ever be of assistance. Thank you for the honor and privilege of representing you in the United States Congress.
