Cooler weather expected; road work on Highway 50, Fairview Drive continues

Today's weather will be partly cloudy and cooler with highs 46-56 and easterly winds around 10 mph.

Tonight, partly cloudy with lows 23-33 and east winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

The Department of Transportation reports at 6:26 a.m. all roads in Northern Nevada open with no controls.
