CHS JV softball finishes unbeaten league season

CARSON JVS 19, NORTH VALLEYS 1

The Senators finished their Sierra League season undefeated after crushing North Valleys on Wednesday and the Panthers forfeited their last two games.

Carson's Natalie Morrow pitched a five-inning complete game for the win, allowing one hit and striking out eight. She also added three hits, three RBI and two doubles to go with three runs.

Lisa Yamamoto had four RBI on two hits, including a triple and a double and Megan Hein added two RBI and three hits to go with her three runs.

Caitlin Sinclair had three hits - including a triple - two RBI and two runs and Elayna Shine had two hits, two runs and an RBI.

Lindsay Burroughs added two hits and an RBI, and Ali Thompson and Breann Perry one hit apiece, with Thompson knocking in one run as JV champion Carson went 21-0 in league and 25-2 overall.
