Carson City Health Department's food-service inspections and the date of inspection (all scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations):




• Bamboo Garden, 3735 S. Carson Street, restaurant, scored 93 points. Chlorine residual was less than 50 ppm on dishwasher after mechanical final rinse. The chlorine supply container was empty. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment such as the microwave oven are not clean. Cardboard on kitchen shelves must be removed. (Repeat violation). A supply of sanitary towels were not present at the kitchen handwash sink.

• Joanie's Creekside Cafe and Catering, 1795 E. College Parkway, restaurant, scored 100 points.


• Raleys No. 114, 3701 S. Carson Street, bakery, scored 98 points. Food contact surfaces of utensils in drawer were not clean.


• Raleys No. 114, 3701 S. Carson Street, restaurant, hot wok, scored 100 points.


• Raleys No. 114, 3701 S. Carson Street, restaurant, Java City, scored 100 points. Establishment is clean and well maintained.


• Raleys No. 114, 3701 S. Carson Street, meat department, scored 100 points. Establishment is clean and well maintained.


• Raleys No. 114, 3701 S. Carson Street, deli department, scored 99 points. The mop bucket was not properly stored as it was found with dirty water in it.
