Seniors at Carson High School are obviously winding down and nearing completion of their 4 years as Senators.
Their Prom is at Silver Oak May 17th. Be on the look out that evening for our fine dressed seniors. Carrying on with tradition, the Student Council will host the Senior Senior Prom at Silver Oak Golf Course on Friday, May 16th, at 7pm, for the senior citizens of Carson City. Spread the word to the community that the senior citizens can dress up in fancy duds and dance the night away!
Senior Elise Sala was selected as the "Command Performer" at the Nevada State Solo and Ensemble contest last month in Las Vegas. Of the 8 finalists, she was chosen the top choice by the Nevada Music Educators Association.
Congratulations to Lainey Henderson who will compete in the National Poetry Outloud contest for $10, 000 in scholarships. Lainey is the selected representative to compete for the state of Nevada at the National level in Washington, D.C.
