School board member Lemaire files for re-election

Jim Lemair, school board member for District 2, has filed for re-election.

Seats for school board members in Districts 2, 5 and 7 are up this year.

Other city offices up for election include Carson City mayor and Ward 2 and 4 supervisor.

Candidates can file now through May 16 at the elections department of the clerk-recorder's office. The primary election is Aug. 12, and the general election is Nov. 4. All city offices are nonpartisan.
