Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Elizabeth Mary Tiehm, 40, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of East William Street on suspicion of felony burglary, uttering a forged check, attempted theft and possession of stolen property. According to the arrest report, Tiehm tried to cash a $5,500 stolen check at the Bank of America. Bail was set at $25,000.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• An off-duty trooper reported he was almost struck by a dump truck at South Carson and Stewart streets at 3:23 p.m. The dump truck driver was cited.


• A woman reported at 5:51 p.m. that her checkbook was stolen three hours prior from a casino in the 400 block of North Carson Street.


• Residential burglary report in the 3400 block of Kathleen Drive at 6:03 p.m.


• A caller reported a woman was in the middle of the road on Cinnabar Avenue screaming while a man stood over her at 7:11 p.m.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 10:38 p.m.


• Fight report outside of Toads in the 300 block of East William Street at 10:56 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Report of a 72-year-old man not breathing in the 100 block of Ring Road in Mark Twain at 8:07 a.m.


• Report of a boy and a girl sitting in the office at Fernley High School after fighting with each other at 8:37 a.m.


• Battery report on Sugarloaf Drive in Dayton at 9:28 a.m.


• A Fernley mother reported her 14-year-old daughter ran away Sunday night or early Monday morning.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Willow Way in Fernley at 11:50 a.m.


• Report of an accident between a vehicle and a bicycle at 12:40 p.m. on Shadow Lane in Fernley.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Dayton Valley Road at 1:51 p.m.


• Drug-related felony arrests on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 2:50 p.m.


• Shoplifting report at Smith's in Dayton at 5:13 p.m.


• Residential burglary report on Ring Road in Mark Twain at 10: 37 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Report of generator, compressor and drill stolen from USA Parkway at 8:04 a.m.


• Accident on Interstate 80 near Patrick at 2:22 p.m.


• Traffic citations issued on State Route 341 at Cartwright Road and State Route 342 in Gold Hill.
