Surgical Technology pinning ceremony today at WNC
Western Nevada College Surgical Technology Program pinning ceremony, 5 p.m., today at Sarah Winnemucca Hall, Aspen Building, 2201 College Parkway. The students learned basic care of patients in the operating room, operating room techniques, and infection prevention and control, as well as core classes in anatomy and physiology, math, English and human relations. They will earn a Certificate of Achievement in Surgical Technology and will be qualified to sit for the National Certification Examination for Surgical Technology.
