Barbershop owner Adam Baker has dropped his campaign for mayor and will now run for Ward 2 supervisor against incumbent Shelly Aldean.

Aldean had been unopposed until today, the last week for candidates to file for mayor and two supervisor's seats up for election this year.

Baker, 43, owns Les' Barber Shop and is also known for protesting former Gov. Kenny Guinn's decision to have his portrait drawn by an artist not from Nevada. Baker traveled to a bathroom in every state capitol in the country and photographed a portrait he drew of the then-governor beside toilets.

There are three candidates for the supervisor's seat held by incumbent Richard Staub and five candidates for mayor.
