Record high temps possible for Northern Nevada through Sunday

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:10 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls.

Record high temperatures are possible today through Sunday.

Today's weather will be sunny with highs 82-92 and light winds becoming east around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, clear with lows 47-57 and east winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light.

Saturday will be sunny with highs 85-95 and light winds becoming east around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday night, clear with lows 50-60 and light winds becoming west up to 10 mph after midnight.

Sunday, sunny with highs 86-96 with west winds up to 10 mph.
