CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Taco salad with lettuce, tomato, cheese, black olives, corn, light sour cream, refried beans, cinnamon pears.

Wednesday: Chicken with mushroom sauce, one-half baked potato with light sour cream, vegetable medley, apple juice, whole wheat bread with apple butter.

Thursday: Lasagna, garden salad with fat-free dressing, tropical fruit, garlic bread.

Friday: Fish sandwich with tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, three-bean salad, pineapple tidbits.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Baked chicken, potato wedges, green beans, peaches, white cake.

Wednesday: Closed for Senior Health Day.

Thursday: Spaghetti with meat balls, spinach salad, zucchini, apple, garlic bread.

Friday: Quiche, hashbrowns, sausage, pineapple, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The luncheon menu for the Douglas Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane.

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Veal Parmesan, Italian cabbage salad, rice pilaf, garlic bread, chocolate cream pie.

Wednesday: Apple-topped pork chop, baked sweet potatoes, lettuce and tomato salad with French dressing, whole wheat bread, rice krispy treats.

Thursday: Cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, potato chips, watermelon, sherbet.

Friday: Fried chicken, garden salad, baked potato, sour cream, peas and carrots, fruited gelatin dessert, whole wheat bread with apple jelly.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, beets, veggie salad, rolls, peaches.

Wednesday: Polish sausage, potato casserole, stewed tomatoes, roll, peach cobbler.

Thursday: Chicken cordon bleu, baked potato, sautéed zucchini, roll, cake and ice cream.

Friday: Lemon baked fish, broccoli-stuffed potato, steamed carrots, beet salad, bread with apple butter, honey dew melon.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Sloppy Joes, peas and carrots, celery sticks, apple crisp.

Wednesday: Roast pork, mashed potatoes with gravy, dressing, vegetables, applesauce, cookies.

Thursday: Polish sausage sandwich, sauerkraut, 3-bean salad, apple strudel.

Friday: Tuna casserole, buttermilk biscuits, honey, fruit salad, fruit muffins.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Stuffed baked potato, beet salad, fruit, cookie.

Wednesday: Beef with broccoli, fried rice, fancy coleslaw, bread, peach cobbler.

Thursday: Broasted chicken, noodles, colorful salad, vegetable, garlic bread, cook's choice dessert.

Friday: Barbecue in the park; hamburger and Polish dogs, macaroni salad, baked beans, cookie bars.

FERNLEY

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Drive:

Tuesday: Tacos (2), rice, zucchini and tomatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa with chips, apricots.

Wednesday: Chicken wrap, fresh fruit cup, vegetable pasta salad, corn chips, cookie, brownie.

Thursday: Italian sausage casserole, hashbrowns, mixed fruit, V8, orange juice.

Friday: Chicken Caesar salad, whole wheat roll with margarine, vegetable soup, potato salad, melon.
