Warm weather continues, as does road work in Carson City

Record high temperatures possible today.

Monday will be sunny with highs 87-97 with light winds becoming west 10-15 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy with lows 48-58 with west winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the evening becoming light.

Tuesday, windy and partly cloudy with highs 80-90 with west winds around 10 mph increasing to southwest 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph in the afternoon.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 5:58 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls.
