Barbershop owner Adam Baker has dropped his campaign for Ward 2 supervisor.

The race for the seat is now between incumbent Shelly Aldean, a developer, and consultant Dennis Johnson.

Baker, 43, owns Les' Barber Shop and is also known for protesting former Gov. Kenny Guinn's decision to have his portrait drawn by an artist not from Nevada. Baker traveled to a bathroom in every state capitol in the country and photographed a portrait he drew of the then-governor beside toilets.

Baker, who earlier filed to run for Carson City mayor, could not be reached for comment Wednesday night.

There are four challengers for the supervisor's seat held by incumbent Richard Staub and five candidates for mayor.
