9:12 All Carson City votes have been counted. Bob Crowell is mayor, and Molly Walt upset Richard Staub for supervisor.

The V&T ballot question was soundly defeated, along with the Public Safety ballot question.

8:11 p.m. Results of absentee votes have been tallied and added to early votes. Look below for results.

8:05 p.m.: Capitol Bureau reporter Geoff Dornan reported that after running the results for early voting, that "something went haywire" and the rest of the results may be delayed for a while. We will post updates as they come in.

6:41 p.m.: Carson City Clerk Recorder Alan Glover said early voting and absentee votes will be tallied by 7 p.m.

"But I don't think we can call these races from early voting like we usually can," he said.

More than 14,000 of the city's 26,000 registered voters took advantage of this year's early voting.

Today, by 4 p.m. about 2,000 voters had made their way to the community center's gymnasium to cast their ballots in the presidential election, several state elections and city elections, including mayor and district court judge.

Shelly Aldean: 54.2%

Dennis E. Johnson: 45.8%

Richard S. Staub: 44.23%

Molly Walt: 55.77%
