Sheriff's Log

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 27-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 1:32 a.m. Tuesday at Winnie Lane and Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to maintain single lane, fictitious registration, no insurance and failure to maintain single lane. Bail was set at $1,013.

- A 53-year-old Carson City Parks and Recreation employee was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving with a suspended registration, driving without insurance and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,971.

- A 69-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:33 p.m. Monday at Clearview Drive and Highway 395 on a Nevada Highway Patrol warrant for drunken driving. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor driving without a valid license, driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration. Bail was set at $1,986.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Report of gasoline siphoned from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Hot Springs Road at 8:32 a.m.

- A woman reported her wallet was stolen and someone charged $1,285 on her debit card.

- Coroner call in the 400 block of Saliman Road at 10:19 a.m.

- Residential burglary report on Bulette Drive at 12:48 p.m. The homeowners came home and found their front door open.

- Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 6:28 p.m.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 8:29 a.m.

- A Stagecoach father reported his daughter and her friend stole his car and then used it to buy marijuana. A misdemeanor arrest was made at 9:34 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest at Dayton Substation at 9:41 a.m.
