Richard Longwedel, 83, former resident of Carson City, South Lake Tahoe and 32-year resident of Silver Springs, died Nov. 2, 2008 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Dick was born March 13, 1925, in Boulder, Colo.
Among his survivors are wife of 63 years Hattie; daughter Candie (Arnie) Kelley; son Walt (Susan) Longwedel; grandchildren Aaron (Shawna) Kelley, Wade Kelley, Brent (Alicia) Longwedel, Andrea Longwedel and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
