Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- David Michael Salmond, 41, a construction worker from Coleville, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and a Hawthorne warrant for failure to pay fines on a DUI charge. Bail was set at $4,071.

- Daniel Addison Rodriguez, 24, a laborer from Reno, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of South Harbin Street on suspicion of felony parole violation, possession of a controlled substance and prisoner in possession of a controlled substance. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a customer stealing four tires from the back room of Les Schwab Tires on South Carson Street at 10:53 a.m.

- Caller on South Harbin Street reported there was "a lot of traffic going in and out of the apartment. Male subject yelling about his heroin," at 3:44 p.m. An arrest was made.

- Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 10:51 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Coroner call on Annetta Street in Silver Springs at 7:52 a.m.

- A domestic dispute on Shadow Lane in Fernley that resulted in someone being hit in the head with a thrown object at 9:44 a.m.

- Report of a generator stolen from the Mustang Range on Highway 95 Alternate at 12:38 p.m.

- Coroner call on River Road in Dayton at 5:30 p.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Bluestone Mine in Mason Valley at 5:24 p.m.

- Report of a car owner finding that someone had propped up nails against his tires on Spring Circle in Silver Springs at 6:22 p.m. The caller said vandalism on his property was an ongoing problem.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 9:43 p.m.
