Margaret "Maggie" M. Stewart passed away Nov. 5, 2008 in Carson City.
Maggie was born July 26, 1930 in Creekside, Pa. to John Lowry Nofsker and Edith Davis Nofsker.
She moved to Carson City with her husband in 1980. Prior to that she lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years. Maggie enjoyed cooking chili as her hobby and won many awards over twenty years in chili cook-off competitions. She loved to spend time with her great granddaughter Allison, and very much enjoyed family gatherings.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Ronald; loving mother of Gary, Russell, Leslie and Allison; grandmother of Gary Jr., Christopher, Joanna, and Lena; great grandmother of three; sister of John and Carol Nofsker.
We will miss your wit, your zest for enjoying life, and the love you passed on to your friends and family. We are remembering her today, and every day because she will always be in our hearts.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Capitol Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
