Mildred May, 87, a 57-year resident of Carson City and Gardnerville, died Nov. 14, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin May, son Alfred May, and grandson Joshua May. Among her survivors are six sons; three daughters; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
